Grandfather Bob writes: Taylor is proud to present his new little brother to the world.
Daniel Scott Showalter arrived March 29 at 7:54 pm and is doing great!
They induced (labor) early in hopes Amber would not need a c-section but ended up having to do one anyway. As the cord was wrapped tightly around Daniel's neck, this was a good thing.
Daniel was 8 pounds, 7 ounces and 19 inches long and looks exactly like Amber did as a baby but has Michael's big feet.
It was a little more of an ordeal than we wanted for Amber, but she's doing fine.
