Bio     Bess's given name may be Elizabeth, which is her daughter's         middle name; though, all persons that can remember,         can only remember Bess and Bessie; her gravestone         reads "Bess."    Note: 7-21-09 Bess's daughter, Kay, confirms Elizabeth to         Paul Fitz-Gibbon.     Lived for many years with her family in Decorah, Iowa, where she         owned a farm and a haberdashery with husband Frank.     Bess was noted for practical, good humor; i.e. "...the first         can come at anytime; after that, it takes nine months."     Christmas gifts were always remembered for myriad nieces         and nephews.
